Brain Stroke is a burning problem globally. It is the commonest cause of physical and mental disability and the second commonest cause of mortality. Rising incidence in the younger population, which is the most productive age group for a developing country like India, is a worrying factor. Project Brainline, a brainchild of a charitable organisation (Purva Medical Trust), along with the Rotary Club of Millenium City, has made it a mission, Mission BrOLO (Brain Only Lives Once) to spread awareness regarding Brain Stroke in society and develop a network of Primary Stroke care centers in Thane and Raigad districts.
